BCD Travel leads NDC transformation:

UTRECHT, The Netherlands, July 8, 2025 – BCD Travel continues to drive new distribution capability (NDC) with an accelerated rollout of content and solutions as well as increased investment in its proprietary travel commerce platform. Over the past decade, BCD has consistently invested millions each year to advance its travel commerce platform, placing the TMC in a uniquely strong position to provide NDC content at scale.
NDC is a foundational component of BCD’s overarching commerce strategy, centered around a robust offering of multi-source content from leading aggregators, online travel agencies (OTAs), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and supplier direct connects, including airline partnerships. The BCD Travel Commerce platform consolidates, normalizes and enriches this content, applies program intelligence, and shares it across both traveler and agent point-of-sale for a seamless retail experience.
With hundreds of thousands of NDC bookings already flowing through its systems, BCD has become a trusted partner in guiding organizations through the NDC transition. Its traveler engagement and booking platform, TripSource®, offers integrated NDC access and full connectivity with BCD systems and customers’ preferred third-party OBTs.
“At Siemens, we greatly value our strategic collaboration with BCD in advancing NDC adoption,” said Susanne Steinmann, Siemens’ Head of Global Payment & Airline Procurement & Sustainability Lead. “BCD’s proactive leadership and technical expertise have been instrumental in enabling access to NDC content from major European airlines, significantly enhancing our travel program. Their commitment to innovation and partnership aligns seamlessly with our goals of delivering dynamic pricing, personalized offers, and greater value to our travelers. Together, we are shaping a more efficient and traveler-centric future in corporate travel.”
“We deliver the full universe of content our clients need to hit their savings and sustainability targets,” said Thane Jackson, SVP, Global Distribution Strategy & Supplier Management & Delivery at BCD. “We already provide access to NDC content for our customers, representing most major airlines with NDC solutions. As soon as we’ve certified that an airline’s NDC content meets corporate travel needs, it’s made available to travelers. They gain full access to content, ensuring they can make informed choices within policy online and offline.”
